FAQ
Before You Book
Honest answers, no runaround. Where the answer depends on your space, we say so instead of guessing.
What is included in a standard cleaning?
The surfaces you actually live on. Kitchens and bathrooms cleaned and sanitized, floors vacuumed and mopped, surfaces dusted and wiped down, mirrors and interior glass, trash out, beds made if you want them made. The exact list is set during your consultation, because a two-bedroom condo and a five-bedroom house do not need the same visit.
What is the difference between a standard clean and a deep clean?
A standard clean maintains a space that is already in reasonable shape. A deep clean goes after the build-up routine visits skip: baseboards, grout lines, door frames, inside appliances, vents and fixtures, and behind and under the furniture. A lot of clients start with a deep clean and then settle into a standard rhythm from there.
Do you bring your own supplies and equipment?
In most cases yes, and we can also work with products you would rather we use in your home. Setups differ between houses and commercial sites, so we confirm who is supplying what before the first visit. Ask when you call and we will settle it then.
Do I need to be home while you clean?
Your call entirely. Plenty of clients give us an entry method and come home to a finished house. Others prefer to be there, especially the first time. Both are fine. We only need to agree on access ahead of time so nobody is standing at a locked door.
How should I prepare for the first visit?
Clear counters and floors of anything you would rather we not move, put away valuables and paperwork, and flag anything fragile or particular. That is the whole list. You do not need to tidy first. Cleaning up before the cleaners arrive is a habit worth breaking.
How does scheduling work?
After the walkthrough and the written quote, we set your day and your arrival window. Recurring clients keep the same slot so it stays predictable. One-time jobs get scheduled around your closing date, your lease date, or whatever the deadline is. Booking happens during office hours, Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule?
Tell us as early as you can and we will work with you. Reach out and we will walk you through how it works for your plan, rather than quoting you a blanket rule that may not fit your situation.
What about my pets?
Tell us about them up front: how many, how they are with strangers, and whether they should be shut in a room while we work. Pets are a normal part of this job. It is only the surprises that cause trouble.
Do you clean businesses as well as homes?
Both, and we handle them differently. On the commercial side we cover offices, medical facilities and retail, including janitorial work: scheduled cleanings, trash removal, restroom care and disinfecting. We can work outside your business hours so the cleaning stays invisible to your clients.
Do you handle move-in and move-out cleanings?
Yes. A move-out clean is deep by definition: empty cabinets, inside the oven and the fridge, closets, baseboards, and all the spots the furniture was hiding. Landlords, realtors and tenants call us for the same reason, which is that a walkthrough goes better when the place is genuinely clean.
Do you do work beyond cleaning?
Yes. Handyman work and general repairs, dryer vent cleaning, pressure washing, interior painting, drywall patching, and kitchen or bath refreshes, plus help with decorating. Property upkeep tends to arrive in clusters, so we would rather be the one call than one of four.
What areas do you serve?
Vero Beach is our base. We also work in Sebastian, Fort Pierce, Port St. Lucie, Melbourne and Palm Bay, which covers Indian River, St. Lucie and Brevard counties. If you sit near the edge of that and are not sure, call and ask.
What are your hours?
Our office hours are Mon–Fri 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and that is when quotes, scheduling and questions are handled. Commercial cleaning often runs outside those hours by arrangement, since a lobby is easier to clean when nobody is standing in it.
How do I get a quote?
Call (786) 682-0161, email info@yaiservicesfl.com, or send the form on this page. We talk through what you need, come look at the space, and put the scope, the frequency and what is included in writing before any work starts.
Still have a question? Ask it.
Your space deserves better than 'just okay.' Let's clean it right.
